Md. Ibrahim Khalil completed his B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Dhaka, graduating with First Class First in his master’s and receiving a gold medal for academic excellence. With a strong foundation in mathematics, his background extends to data science, machine learning, and optimization. He has a keen research interest in power system optimization, deep learning, reinforcement learning and artificial intelligence. His undergraduate research involved trend analysis of meteorological parameters. Currently, he is working on applying metaheuristic algorithms to optimize unit commitment and economic dispatch problems in IEEE test systems. He is also passionate about teaching and fostering collaborative academic growth.
