English Department Welcomes Batch 252 | Freshers' Orientation 2025 (Summer)

The Department of English at Presidency University joyfully welcomed the freshers of Batch 252 to Summer Semester of 2025 through a vibrant Freshers' Orientation Program, held on Thursday, 7 August 2025.

The program was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests, including Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury (Vice Chancellor), Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Kabir (Principal Advisor), Professor AHM Faruque (Treasurer), Md. Sakir Hossain (Registrar), Nazla Fatmi (Head of the Department), Mohammad Zahedur Rahman (Controller of Examinations), Afroza Helen (Director, Admin, Logistics & Office of the Student Affairs), Md. Anisur Rahman (Associate Professor & Proctor), Md. Jahid Hassan (Head of Admission), and Morshedur Rahman (Senior Executive of Accounts).

Their inspiring words of wisdom offered valuable direction and encouragement to our newest students as they embark on their academic journey.

The event featured lively musical performances, heartfelt speeches from both seniors and freshers, and a shared sense of excitement and camaraderie. It was a warm and festive start to what promises to be a fulfilling university experience.
